The rail intermodal transportation revolution continues with the introduction of the ROADS Rail-Road Autonomous Drayage System. The new system features an autonomous yard/dray tractor and new adjustable length chassis so the equipment is available to move any type of load within a port or rail terminal. The system will be fueled by battery-hydrogen-ethanol or a combination to reduce emissions at ports, terminals, and while on the road to/from customer sites.
Autonomous yard/dray tractor to work at ports, rail terminals, and over-the-road movements.
On-site or off-site control center for operation management.
New chassis is electrically operated from tractor generated power.
Raise/lower landing pads.
Raise/lower new rear door security system.
Power new braking system.
Power equipment safety and monitoring systems.
The system will adjust the length of the chassis to match the container length it will transport.
ROADS designs are patent pending.
